Program Benefits

CALL members will serve for three year membership terms, receiving a robust annual financial award, access to personalized professional development and leadership coaching, and covered travel to attend regional, place-based site visits in 10 different communities across Eastern Kentucky, West Virginia, Northeast Tennessee, and Southwest Virginia. 

What are the benefits of being a Lab Member?

  • CALL members will receive a total financial award of $7,500, disbursed annually in $2,500 increments over the three-year program term. The award is considered taxable income.

  • Lab members will receive covered travel support to attend regional, place-based site visits in 10 different communities across Eastern Kentucky, West Virginia, Northeast Tennessee, and Southwest Virginia. Convening dates include:

    -Fri. April 16 & Sat. April 17, 2027 (Kickoff Convening)
    -Sat. July 31, 2027
    -Sat. November 6, 2027
    -Sat. April 1, 2028
    -Sat. July 15, 2028
    -Sat. November 4, 2028
    -Sat. April 21, 2029
    -Sat. July 28, 2029
    -Sat. November 3, 2029
    -Fri. March 29 & Sat. March 30, 2030 (Graduation Convening)

  • Lab members will have access to a flexible funding pool that can be applied toward their professional development and/or pursuits related to our north star goal across the region. 

  • Members will gain access to at least six cost-covered coaching sessions per year with a high-quality leadership coach, who will provide support for members’ individual leadership and learning goals. 

  • Lab members will build connection through engaging monthly (virtual) calls with other participants and attending three in-person convenings per year.
