Relocation Application Track
Applicants that do not currently have permanent residence in the TFA Appalachia region will submit an application through the
Relocation Track.
The application process and timeline for the Relocation Track are detailed below. At this time, the Relocation Track is only available for TFA alumni.
Application Submission
Applications can be submitted between April 1 and June 3, 2023. Learn more about the Application Components before applying.

Round 1 Virtual Interview
Application review begins June 5, 2023. Those selected to move forward will be invited to a 30-minute, virtual Round 1 interview.
Round 2 Virtual Interview
Those selected to move forward after the Round 1 interview will be invited to a 60-minute, virtual Round 2 interview.
Membership Acceptance Notification & Talent Matching Process
Applicants are notified of membership award status no later than July 28, 2023.
Accepted members who need to secure employment in the region will move forward to the final talent matching process. In this phase, the applicant is responsible for securing employment in the TFA Appalachia region, with support from staff.
Relocation
Formal acceptance is awarded once employment is secured by the applicant. Accepted members are expected to move to the region within 6 months (by January 2024).
